Vintage Vivant!
Last night I attended my first Vintage Vivant evening at the Swan Dive downtown. Vintage Vivant is a monthly fete that celebrates the halcyon days of the Jazz Age - replete with 20s cocktails, black and white movies, live music, flappers, feathers, and all the other accouterments befitting that decade. I went with my friend Naomi who wore a fantastic vintage dress that she purchased in an L.A thrift store and which reminded me of the Chrysler building in Manhattan:
We also met Shari, the lovely owner of Charm School Vintage, who was outfitted in a vintage leotard, also discovered in L.A:
I’m obsessed with this outfit and spent all night admiring Shari from afar before plucking up enough courage (3 glasses of champagne later) to approach her.
