Huevos de la Revolucion!
I’m back from Playa del Carmen, Mexico! I’m sunburned and tired, but I had so much fun (even though it rained 3 of the 4 days we were there). I’m thrilled to be back home, though, and to sleep in my bed!
Being back makes me want to do this:
Which in turn requires lots of these:
You may be wondering about this entry’s title (or not, who knows). While in Mexico, my sister and I picked up some Spanish. One of our favorite phrases was “huevos revoltados,” the Mexican way of saying scrambled eggs which loosely translates to “eggs in revolt.” This, naturally, conjured up many images of eggs in the midst of a rebellion so we then amused ourselves by coming up with phrases like “huevos de la revolucion!” and “huevos de la guerra!” etc etc.
I entertained myself a good deal at work earlier today drawing pictures of eggs at war, but I have no scanner so they will remain mine alone. Additionally, my camera seems to have decided to stop functioning so I cannot upload my vacation photos.
One of these days I’ll post photos of myself wearing something cool and you will all rejoice and say “Ah! There is the Cami we know and love!” But until that day LMFAO music videos will have to suffice.
