Little Black Dress

                  

Not to sound like a page ripped out of a 1993 edition of Vogue, but the Little Black Dress is a staple of any woman’s closet. I realize it’s cliche, but there is an element of truth to the statement - a black cocktail dress is perfect for almost any occasion.

Black will always be chic and stylish, and depending on the length of dress you select, the LBD can go from work to happy hour to dinner. Even women who don’t like to wear skirts and dresses ought to have this basic in their closet; it comes in handy when your boyfriend/girlfriend has a last minute dinner invite from their parents, a sudden work happy hour, an event they forgot to go to (and if your significant other is as absent-minded as mine is, the latter situation pops up more frequently than I care to acknowledge).
