Pink Lady

This dress was the best $20 I’ve ever spent! I spotted it hanging on a rack outside New Bohemia when I was on South Congress a few weeks ago. It was $20 and the moment I saw it I knew I had to have it so I practically sprinted to grab it off the rack before someone else did! Originally, the skirt fell a few inches below my knees which made me look short with stumpy legs so I took off 3-4” which I think gives it a more contemporary look while still keeping the vintage 50s feel.

It seems that everything in my life has been pink lately - pink dress, pink grapefruit, pink nail polish (Boogie Nights!), pink candle from Voluspa, etc. Oh, and that apple I’m holding? A pink lady, of course!
