An Old Look, a New Ensemble.
This vest was a staple of my every outfit last year so a few days ago I decided to throw it on again for old time’s sake. I like mixing browns and creams together to create a very neutral palette and the fringe on the vest makes it whimsical, Western and a little 70s-esque. Last summer I went through a Mary-Kate/Nicole Richie-inspired Boho phase which I still like to dip into now and then.
DRESS: Strut
VEST: vintage
SANDALS: Andarella
HEADBAND: Self made
NECKLACE: vintage
The headband I made a long, long time ago and this summer I changed it up a bit. It’s brown suede with feathers and beads (which I just added a few months ago). Last winter I wore headbands all the time (to keep my curly hair in check) and this was my favorite because it was thin and suede as opposed to all the shiny, satiny ribbon I used for the others I’d made.
The owl necklace was purchased by my mother for me in Brazil.
