2. Longchamp’s My Le Pliage Interactive Facebook App

Longchamp currently has this amazing app up on their facebook page which allows you to design and create your own unique Le Plaige hangdbag or weekender.
Select the size, color, handles, and leather. Monogram your bag or embroider your name onto the front.
3. New (Old) Music!
Video for the first single off Lykke Li’s new album. I blogged about this song a few weeks ago because I’m pretty obsessed with it, but the video was just released recently.
Stromae is a Belgian-Rwandan musician who was featured on the British show Skins which, as many of you know, I’m basically addicted to. The Skins site has a full run down of every song from every episode ever so I was able to track down all my favorite songs from my favorite scenes. Since learning who Stromae is, I’ve downloaded a whole slew of his song and I can’t get enough of them - finally, good dance music.
This isn’t new, but it’s still so good. The video is hilariously clever (and somewhat offensive and possibly NSFW). Download all of Lele’s album Flage - “international pants” is another favorite from that record.
4. Saturday! Oooh Ooooooh!
DRESS: Strut
TIGHTS: Hue
BOOTS: Steve Madden
BELT: vintage
PURSE: Turquoise Trading Post
EARRINGS: Turquoise Trading Post
RINGS: vintage; grandmother; Turquoise Trading Post
SUNGLASSES: Betsey Johnson
I blogged about these Steve Madden boots a few weeks ago and after much waffling back and forth and hem-hawing over the price tag, I finally caved and bought the damn things. Yesterday when they arrived I had just spoken to my friend Danielle whose roommate Allison had also purchased them. She said the boots rubbed her heels and that the zipper jammed but I wore them all day today and have no complaints. The leather is extremely soft and I think with a little more wear and tear they’ll get even more broken in and comfortable. I’m thrilled to have a new pair of flat, brown boots since my Urban Outfitters pair are seriously on their last leg (foot?).
