So the blog party was over a week ago and I would’ve written sooner, but I’ve been moving and settling into my new apartment and looking for a new job so, unfortunately, this blog has taken somewhat of a backseat to other priorities. The party took place at Trio at the Four Seasons where about seventy people gathered for delicious lamb sliders, s’mores and wine. It was incredibly hot outside so everyone got a little perspirational and we’d run inside for cover in the cool, dark, AC-filled bar.I ran into Zoe, my friend Jesse’s younger sister, who is pretty much going to run Austin in about ten years. The girl is interning at Transmission Entertainment and METV and worked at Soundcheck Magazine for a bit. Incredibly impressive for a girl of her age. Anyway, she was there with her mom who I met over a year ago at Spiderhouse and who writes for the Huffington Post! I also met a couple of very cute girls who run great blogs.

I’m in love, love, love with Ana’s outfit. I’m going to send her a message asking her where she bought her dress and to take me shopping. She looks great and really put these items together so well!
RIGHT:Ashley, Birds BarbershopLeslie, Okay-So
Also, in the vein of all my friends having food blogs, check out my friend Kate’s Nacho blog which is really fucking funny. This is a girl whose nacho insights you can trust.
