It’s a Birthday Extravaganza!
This week has been a mega birthday explosion. Abby, Jesse, Ben and now Stephen. Four days in a row of birthday fundom. I’m pretty pooped and I have to keep going!
I’m really into these two photos because on top of being two cute, well-dressed girls, they’re making the exact. same. pose. And I’m pretty sure it was completely unintentional. It’s so cute!
On the left: JESSESHIRT: A clothing swap, much like the one we held a month ago.SHORTS: “I have no idea.. I just found them in my closet!”
On the right: JORDANDRESS: “I dunno.. probably Buffalo!”COWBOY BOOTS: Garage sale!
We were at Shangri-La last night to celebrate Ben’s 26th and I really, really liked how all my friends showed up looking so put together and cute and stylish. And then I end up finding out that all their outfits cost under $50 or so! That’s so impressive, looking that good for that little! I think these girls are incredible. Jesse has always dressed very well an definitely has her own distinct style. I remember one of the first times we hung out was at a barbecue hosted by a mutual friend, Maggie. Jesse showed up wearing the cutest little summer dress that she had made herself. She’s always tweaked items to make them her own which is so cool. I need to get better at sewing and working off patterns so I can start doing the same.
I’m going to try to post more and more photos of guys and gals around town from now on. I want to depict the styles of Austinites to the world!
