Jil Sander for Uniqlo

Jil Sander’s latest collection for the Japanese sportswear retailer, Uniqlo, launches this October in stores. At 169 pieces, this collection is far larger than the Jil Sander designed fall apparel from last year but retains that minimalist, tailored, simplistic (can I say Germanic?) aesthetic that Sander is known for.

The palette runs from blues to greys without much respite from the winter hues which is unfortunate for me since I like browns/camel/tans/beiges and other warmer hues much more.

Since the line is being launched on October 7th I’ll be able to cull through the whole thing to see if there’s anything I like when I hit New York at the end of the month. Hopefully I’ll find something good and it’ll make up for the fact that I won’t be in NY for the Lanvin for H&M collection. God just saying that makes my heart hurt a little bit.
