Oh yea!
New shoe crush. Vivienne Westwood has been designing a line of shoes for Australian brand Melissa for a while and my mother actually purchased one of the pairs, but I usually don’t like the designs of the Melissa shoes (I find them mostly tacky and cheap looking, espcially since they are plastic and gelatinous-looking).
Call my old-fashioned or antiquated, but I don’t like plastic as a material for shoes. I don’t understand it. I don’t think they’re attractive at all.
However, Melissa has been insanely popular for several years in Brazil. Ever since I was in high school (eons ago) Brazilian girls have rocked the plastic heels. Plastic plus hot weather seems somewhat gross, doesn’t it? Imagine the sweat.
In any case, THESE are the very first Melissa shoes I’ve ever liked, let alone loved. They come in four sweet, spring colors.
