Ladies Who Brunch

Sunday was the last girl’s brunch with Julia since she’s going to Israel and then moving to L.A (cue the tears). There were about 8 of us there, but unfortunately my camera died so I had to steal photos from Julia (which I made her take for the sake of this blog).

The Saturday evening prior to our Sunday brunch had been rainy and cold (for Texas) so I think we were all excited when Sunday ended up being sunny, but not too chilly. I love Kate and Julia’s dresses, they’re both so fresh and summery. I also like that they’re both very loose-fitting (perfect for brunch binges) and keep you cool in the painful Texas heat. They’re also great to wear over bathing suits on days when we go swimming, but fancy enough to take to dinner.

I guess I missed the memo and showed up in dark colors and winter boots. Sigh.
